Configure Automatic Updates

1. Run GPEDIT.msc
2. Browse to Local Computer Policy | Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components | Windows Update
3. Change the setting for “Configure Automatic Updates” to Enabled

4.  Verify the settings for “Specify intranet Microsoft Update Service Location” is: 















5. Enable and change settings for “Reschedule Automatic Updates scheduled installations”.

6. Change the setting for “Automatic Updates detection frequency” to Enabled.
